High Point Andrews will be the NCHSAA baseball playoffs for the first time in 15 years after the Red Raiders’ 18-5 win over WS Atkins last night…

The High Point Andrews kids came out fired up and went to work early and didn’t look back. They are in the playoffs first time in 15 years. The kids have never experienced this ever and they were so happy and I got a water cooler bath, it was awesome, so proud of them. We play Trinity next at 7pm at Randleman on Thursday night. We stole 13-13 bases tonight(Wednesday). Leading hitters Qualin Price 3-4, 2 rbi’s 3 sb’s got the win on the mound 11 K’s gave up 4 hits. Randy Norris 2-3, 2rbi’s. Blake Compton 2-3, 2 doubles, 2runs scored. Nick Chadmon 2-3, 2sb’s, double , triple and 4 runs scored. Damarius Crawford 1-4, 4 sb’s . Christian Wilcots 2-4, 2runs scored, 4rbi’s 2sb’s. Right now the HPA kids are so happy they made it to the playoffs, to some it was a dream. Don’t care who we play we are in. Way to go HPA.
