Junior Adam Kirkman struck out 13 in a five-inning four-hitter. Markel Johnson sparked the Wildcat offense, going 5 for 5 with a homer, two doubles and four RBIs. Nate Blakeney finished 1 for 2 with five RBIs.
All-TAC honors were announced following the game. Tyler Marion of Westchester was named league player of the year, while the Wildcats’ Joey Hammond took coach of the year accolades.
