ELON, N.C. – Elon women’s lacrosse head coach Josh Hexter has announced the roster for the program’s inaugural season in 2014. The 26-person team will be made up of 22 freshmen, two sophomores and two seniors.
“Virginia (Crotty) and I are so excited to get started this coming fall,” said Hexter. “We have been busy recruiting since day one and are so pleased with our incoming class of 2013. We have 22 incredibly talented young women coming in to jour our four current players. We are extremely confident in our incoming class’ talent level, toughness and work ethic. With this class we except to have lots of fun and play an exciting brand of lacrosse beginning with the first day of practice.”
Elon will begin competing in women’s lacrosse in 2014 as a member of the Atlantic-Sun Conference.
