Greensboro College senior women’s soccer standout Meredith Kelly was recognized Wednesday on the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association’s (NCCSIA) All-State College Division Second Team.
A four-time USA South All-Conference honoree, Kelly started 17 of 18 games in the midfield and finished third on the team with 11 points. Overall, Kelly netted three goals and five assists in 18 games. In addition, she was also named to the All-Sportsmanship Team and won the team’s Most Valuable Player Award.
In addition to her success on the field, Kelly earned the Presidential Scholar Athlete Award, honoring Greensboro College’s Top Academic Student-Athlete, as well as the Fred Joseph Award, highlighting Greensboro College’s Top Student-Athlete (non academic).
