Region 5 won 6-0 over Region 4 and will play in the Gold Medal game at 5:30 pm today.

The Powerade State Games High School Softball Showcase is ending just like the High School Baseball Showcase did, with a matchup of the Charlotte area versus the Triad area. This afternoon at 5:30pm at Wingate University, Region 6 (Charlotte and surrounding counties) will play for the Gold Medal against Region 5 (Triad Area). That game will be preceded by Region 7 vs Region 2 for the Bronze Medal at 3:30pm.
