In addition, Litchfield will now oversee the Athletic Department’s branding efforts, all broadcasting, the online store shophighpointpanthers.com and he will assist the Athletic Director in strategic initiatives.

Under Litchfield’s watch, highpointpanthers.com was overhauled and multimedia and social media content was introduced for the first time. The website highpointexperience.com was created as well as the new HPU Panthers app. He also serves as staff advisor to the HPU Sports Link.

Prior to High Point, Litchfield worked in the Office of Sports Information at his alma mater, Northeastern University as a full-time staff member for five years, being named Sports Information Director in 2008.

Micklos now has oversight for HPU’s Strength & Conditioning Department and the Athletic Training staff. Through working with both departments, the Sports Performance Department was developed to educate and provide the staff and student-athletes with avenues to maximize results.

During his tenure at HPU, Micklos developed the HPU Athletic Department Strategic Plan and he serves on the University’s Institutional Effectiveness Committee. He also manages many of the Athletic Department’s candidate searches, provides input for strategic initiatives and plays a vital role in the oversight of athletic department capital projects.

Micklos joined HPU after six seasons coaching college soccer, including the final three as assistant coach at the University of Cincinnati. He earned his undergraduate degree at Indiana and earned his master’s degree at the University of Rochester.
