As Director of the Jerry Eaves Scouting Service and Skills Academy, Coach Eaves brings a wealth of basketball knowledge to the Fundamental Skills Academy in having played and coached in the NBA for 11 seasons with over 23 years of coaching experience. He has helped develope many players in the NBA; most notably Baron Davis. He has also worked under Hall of Fame Coach Denny Crum, John Lucas, Paul Silas and Butch Beard. During his 9 years as the Head Coach at North Carolina A&T State University, he has developed 9 of his players from collegiate to professional athletes.

This Scouting Service will rate the Guilford County Players and Teams, as well as holding Camps and Clinics. The first camp will be an Invitation Middle School Clinic, to be held at The Spears YMCA. The staff will consist of former College Coaches and Players. The Clinic Program will consist of: 2 Hour Stations; Shooting, Passing and Dribbling, along with 2 Hours of Team Play (3 on 3; 5 on 5).

    Northwest Guilford played poorly in game 1 in tournament vs. Trinity but turned it on vs. Person and Dudley,
    led by seniors Nick Powell, Nick Yocum and Kris Keefer…..watch out for the Vikings…..they have a lot of new talented players as well.
