The semi finals have been set for the Powerade State Games High School Basketball Tournament at Carolina Courts in Indian Trail. The tournament continues at 9am tomorrow with the Girls Semis and 10:30am with the Boys Semis. The Girls medal games start at noon and the Boys start at 1:30pm. Local team Weddington earned a berth in the Semis in both tournaments, grabbing a 2 seed on the Girls side and a 4 seed on the Boys side. Other Girls teams are TW Andrews (1 seed), Northern Guilford (3 seed) and Mount Tabor (4 seed). For the Boys, the other teams in the Semis are Reagan (1 seed), Panther Creek (2 seed) and North Rowan (3 seed).
