We did a pretty big feature story on this young man when he was coming out of high school…He was drafted by the New York Yankees and he signed for around 800,000 thousand dollars and we saw him play for the Charleston River Dogs when they came to town to play the Greensboro Grasshoppers a couple of years back, and he went as high as the high Class A Tampa Yankees before he was released and now he is on the football roster for the Miami Hurricanes, as a freshman quarterback…….

His brother Landon, has done pretty good for himself on the baseball team at the University of North Carolina and now both of the Lassiter brothers are in the ACC, one at UNC and the other as the QB at ‘The U’/Miami…..
