Bowman Gray Stadium has long been called “The Madhouse” for not only its racing action, but also for the tempers that can boil over! It seems that every few laps, a driver is spinning out another driver!
On Saturday night in the Sportsman Division, driver Derek Stolz’s took Winston-Salem driver Mike Robertson for a wild ride.
Robertson was upset that Stolz won, feeling that he got bumped out-of-the-way, so he latched onto Stolz’s car as it took off.
He was thrown into a wall, but walked off uninjured.
I like the things that they are doing over at Bowman Gray Stadium. Makes for some very good Saturday night entertaiment. Like they used to say, Saturday Night is all right for fighting. Derek Stolz is a proven winner and Mike Robertson is proven whiner.
