The high schools have started up again this morning with their practices and they will be putting the pads on and going with full-gear on Wednesday….Pads on Wednesday and still one a-days for the most part until then…..
Lots of college going at it and Guilford is due to start up later on this week and N.C. A&T will crank it up on Thursday of this week…..Ricky Lewis(Dudley) last year at A&T on the way, Greensboro College has former Eastern Guilford head man and Grimsley assistant Scott Loosemore working with them and they should still have the ‘little big-man” Warren Scott(Southern Guilford) running with them, plus Guilford will have Matt Pawlowski(NWG), Hunter English(Western Guilford), Tyler Hunt(Eastern Guilford), Tyler Campbell(NWG), Austen Thompson (Southern Guilford) all with the Quakers…In from GC College Pride camp, Quentin Chavis, from High Point Christian, will be starting his freshman year at Greensboro College…
Winston-Salem State has picked up Will Johnson and Justin Johnson from High Point Central, plus Phil Sims son is over there now a quarterback, coming in there from UVA and the EJ Abrams kid from Thomasville is in there too at WSSU, with the Rams…Rams look to be loaded again in 2013….Elon still has Thuc Phan(Page) and John Spain(6/2/242) from Page, as one of their top linebackers and the list of locals could go on and on…..
