Pro Football Hall of Famer Art Donovan dead at age 88

Art Donovan, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame has died at age 88…Donovan played for the Baltimore Colts and helped lead them to NFL Championships in the 1958 and 1959 seasons

Donovan was know as Art ‘The Bulldog” Donovan and his playing weight ran at 265 pounds on a 6’3 frame….

Donovan liked to eat and he once said:
“I’ve never been a gourmet eater,” he wrote. “Kosher hot dogs, cheeseburgers, pizza, baloney, and a couple of cases of Schlitz are all I’d need on a desert isle.”

He was a great story teller and he also had his own sports talk show on HTS(Home Team Sports) back in the day and it several different names, but one of the last of the bunch was called, “Donovan, Braase and Friends”…..
