The game ball goes to Ty Powell(Southeast Guilford), as he threw five scoreless innings and gave up just two hits to lead the Greensboro Reds past the Carolina Rebels 8-3…

The Rebels led the Reds 3-0 through the 4th inning, with the Rebels strking for three unearned runs against Reds’ starting pitcher Chris Eggers and those runs came to the plate on an error by the Reds catcher,,,,

Ty Powell etners the game later and he quiets the storm and leads the Reds to the winner’s circle, out in front of the winning dugout….

Plenty of offense for the Reds wonce they got rolling this evening at Trinity HS, with Germaine White going 2-3 with a SAC fly, Travis Moore went 1-1 with 2 stolen bases and a BB, plus Terrence Penn(Guilford College) had a two-run single and he swiped two bags….

Are the Reds now on a Roll?
