News on Greensboro Green’s win on Monday afternoon at the Colt World Series

Greensboro scored 13 runs during the final two innings to record a 17-1, five-inning victory against Indonesia. Cesar Trejo’s home run to lead off the fourth inning opened the floodgates for Greensboro, which tallied six runs in the fourth inning.
After both teams cleared its benches for the fifth inning, Greensboro added seven more runs, highlighted by Ryan Lilly’s two-run triple that hugged the left field line into the corner.

Both teams lost their first two games, eliminating them from the chance to win the tournament. Indonesia, playing in its first Colt World Series, surrendered 49 runs in three games.
