HPU Men’s Soccer Exhibition Game Cancelled Due To Inclement Weather

HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University men’s soccer exhibition game against NC State on Saturday night has been cancelled due to inclement weather. The Panthers and Wolfpack played to a scoreless draw in the first half before the game was called at halftime.

Redshirt-sophomore Kody Palmer made two saves in the first 45 minutes of action for the Panthers.

High Point will play a second exhibition game against Appalachian State on Aug. 24 in Boone, N.C., before officially kicking off the 2013 season at the VCU Rams Classic in Richmond, Va. The Panthers will play Old Dominion on Aug. 30 at 4:30 p.m., and then face UAB on Sept. 1 at 4:30 p.m.
