Paris Kea(Page HS) to Vanderbilt and the numbers that will take her there

We reported the news earlier this week that Page High School point guard Paris Kea has committed to attend Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee and here is some of the background and the numbers that helped get her into the Southeastern Conference, plus notes and quotes from her coach at Page High School, Deborah Jones…

Coach’s Comment:

Paris Kea is the complete package with excellent offensive skills and exceptional defensive ability. She is a fun player to watch and is an inspiration to players younger and older because of how driven she is to be the best. Paris is a very unselfish player. She doesn’t try to take the game over from the get-go, but, when the team needs her to take over, she has the ability to just that. You just need to look at the State Championship game. Personally, I think most definitely Paris is the best high school player in the area and one of the best ever in the history of Page High School. It is not just because of her offensive skills, as good as they are. It is her defense, intensity and will that set her apart from other great players in the past. She is the player that has become so well-rounded and now finds a way to her team win, weather it is with a pass, drive, outside shot or even posting up.
