We’re getting into Wilmington:Former Nighthawk checks in on his team from last night’s win at Page HS

Chris Forlano(Northern Guilford Nighthawks Class of 2013) was able to tune and listen to the game last night down in Wilmington, N.C., by way of the net….Chris was member of the NG Nighthawks’ State Title teams and we used to always see his family up at the McDonalds on Westridge Road, after the high school games on Friday nights….The word from Chris after last night’s game at Page High School and as you can expect, he is very proud of his team….

Glad to hear that my alma mater did as well as they did. I’m proud of how my team played tonight despite missing TJ Logan and Coach Roscoe. I believe that teams should tread lightly around Northern as although they took a big hit on both sides of the line and a substantial loss in the running game, they are still a threat in the conference. It will be interesting to see how they develop through the next few weeks. Glad to hear the defense is doing as well as they have in the past. Coach Thomas is doing a superb job with the team.

Andy, it was great hearing your voice all the way from Wilmington, NC. Hope you are doing well. Thank you as always for the wonderful work you do. Hope to see you at the usual spot sometime this season.

Glad to hear that Greensboro High School Football is starting off with a bang. Can’t wait to see what this season holds.

+++++We also heard from Daniel Downing, another Nighthawk from past Championship seasons, as he checked in with us yesterday….+++++
