Women’s Cross Country Results – Guilford 7th at Seahawk Invite

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Sophomore Rebecca Reyna ran the 10th-fastest five-kilometer time in school history Friday at the Seahawk Invitational on UNC Wilmington’s campus. Her time of 21 minutes, 15.14 seconds, was nearly 15 seconds faster than her career best set a year ago. She placed 10th in the 80-woman field and had the fastest time ever run by a Guilford woman.

After Reyna, Naomi Madaras placed 36th in 22:54.21. She was followed by Emily Cash (23:33.95) in 44th place, two spots ahead of freshman teammate Kate Jenkins-Sullivan (24:03.10). Molly Anne Marcotte was 50th with a time of 24:38.74. Samantha Chenkin was 52nd with a time of 25:28.27.
