Jerry Eaves’ Elite Middle School Camp:The Eaves Report

The ‘Eaves Report’ with Coach Jerry Eaves, former men’s basketball coach at N.C. A&T State University…..

Here is the third group of Middle School Players that will attend the First Elite Middle School Camp to be held at the Spears YMCA on Sat, Sept 14, 2013 from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm.

Jermani Kea:
Jermani is a 6th grade student at Aycock Middle School. He has grown under the tootelige Coach Westmoreland, but I am here to tell you that Jermani is the most fundamentally sound basketball player for his age I have ever seen! He picks up Drills like high school players!! Just a side-bar, his sister Paris Kea, is a beautiful person and player who just recently committed to Vanderbilt University. Watch out for great things from this young man!

Andy Pack:
Andy is an 8th grade student at Kiser Middle School, who averaged 14 pts and the team’s overagell record was 12-2. Andy is 6’1″ shooter with a 3 point shooting range, a super player and great passer. He is a right handed player, but is ambidextrous shooting jump shots. Don’t sleep on him or you’ll be sorry!

Dwayne Crossen:
Dwayne is a 7th grader at Southern Middle School who averaged 18 pts, and the team overall record was 10-4! His AAU affiliation with Team Felton advanced to the Classic Bracket in Memphis, TN. Strong right hander with Point Guard skills. Dwayne has a dependable jump shot and can put the ball in the basket.

The fourth group will be reported on Wed, Sept 11, 2013, so keep on the look-out!

Please arrive no later than 5:15pm for registration, to ensure the camp starts promptly at 6pm. So please be on time!

The hype is building and all the parents are getting excited. If you have not signed up and would like to, please contact me or the Spears YMCA and pick up your Application. The cost is $75 per player. You don’t want to miss out on all the fun and learn a little something in the process! See you Saturday.

Sincerely,

Coach Jerry Eaves
