Cowboys fall short in overtime
Thanks to a TD catch by Rick Mack to close the first half the game was tied at 21-21
Ledford scored first in the second half making the score 28-21….Another touchdown drive by the Cowboys led by another Rick Mack rushing TD tied the game at 28-all….
Ledford battled again and scored another touchdown putting them up by 7….
Late in the 4th quarter the Cowboys had a crucial 4th down and ran a nifty trick play.
Justin Hensley hit Jeremiah Brown for a TD with 6:00 to go to tie the game.
Both Defenses prevailed until the end of regulation.
Ledford scored quickly and missed the XP giving the Cowboys a good shot at winning
Southwest Guilford turned the ball over and the game was over…..
A big game Friday night between Southwest Guilford and Western Guilford. This game will be played at “The Ranch” and the “Cowboy Crazies” are buzzing. This should be an exciting game for the Cowboys and will hopefully be win #2 for the team.
