Northwest Guilford High School To Be Dedicated to Bob Yow October 10th

The Guilford County Board of Education approved last night the naming of the soccer field at Northwest Guilford High School for longtime soccer coach and Northwest High staff member Bob Yow. Coach Yow left his mark at Northwest High School serving as a teacher, coach, and mentor to so many students and staff members for over thirty years until his retirement. He continued to help out at Northwest even after his retirement until his untimely passing in May 2012.

There will be a ceremony to dedicate the field on Thursday, October 10th at halftime of the soccer game at Northwest High School versus Ragsdale.

Parking for soccer game will be in the student parking lot. Take the sidewalk by the baseball field to the soccer field spectator area on top of the hill.

Admission for all athletic events at Northwest High School is $5. All NCHSAA, NC Coaches, conference, and GCS School ID passes will be honored for admission as well.
