GREENSBORO, NC — Greensboro College and Director of Athletics John Trice would like to announce the hiring of Wesley Gullett as the new Sports Information Director for Greensboro College athletics.
“Wesley Gullett has been a valuable member of our Sports Information department since 2004, and I am very pleased to add him to our full-time staff,” Trice said. “His passion for Greensboro College and our athletic programs in addition with his knowledge and experience made him an ideal candidate and selection for this position.”
Gullett has been a part of the sports information family since 2004 when he served as a student worker. He has also served as the Greensboro College sports information assistant for seven years, and spent time as the interim director in the spring of 2011. Gullett has worked with other athletic events such as minor league baseball, arena football, and NCAA Championships. Gullett fills the position vacated after Mitch Fastenau resigned his post to pursue other opportunities.
“It is a great honor and privilege to serve the Greensboro College athletics family as the next sports information director,” Gullett said. “Greensboro College athletics have been a big part of my life, and I am excited for the chance to serve Pride teams and student-athletes.”
Gullett resides in Greensboro, with his wife Samantha, and young daughters Addison and Emily.
