ELON, N.C. – The Elon University cross country program added a pair of meets to its 2013 regular-season schedule on Monday, Sept. 23, as announced by Phoenix head cross country coach Christine Engel. The maroon and gold will race in meets at Appalachian State and Louisville on the weekend of Oct. 4-5.
The Phoenix will have a group compete at the Mountaineer Open on Friday, Oct. 4, in Boone, N.C., the first of two meets at Appalachian State this season. The following day, Oct. 5, a few members of both programs will race at the Greater Louisville Classic in Louisville, Ky.
With the schedule additions, Elon will not compete at the Charlotte Cross Country Invitation this Saturday, Sept. 28.
