Men’s Soccer: Randolph 4, Guilford 0

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Regionally ranked Randolph came into the Armfield Athletic Center and prevailed by a 4-0 margin over Guilford Wednesday night in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) men’s soccer game.

The Quakers (4-3-1, 2-1 ODAC) stood toe-to-toe with the WildCats, ranked fourth in this week’s Continental Tire South Atlantic Region Poll, in the first half. Randolph took a 1-0 lead into intermission on the strength of Jacob Lusczek’s goal at the 20-minute mark.

The WildCats (4-2-1, 2-0 ODAC) exploded for three goals in the second half, as their team speed eventually word down the Quakers.

Michael MacVane made 11 stops for Guilford while Carter Smith turned away the only two shots he faced for Randolph.

The Quakers return to action Saturday night when they host Bridgewater at 7:00 pm in an ODAC battle.
