i dont agree with the rankings but who does. i have seen east forsyth,mount tabor,north davidson, and west forsyth play and none compare to dudley. dudley right now are head and shoulders above everybody its theirs to lose. to much of everything. please give me a weakness other than the kicking game.
I’ve seen all of these teams also and agree that Dudley is best but SE Guilford is not far behind.
SE and Dudley are the Rodney Dangerfields of Greensboro. Maybe its because we are on the East side? Conference play starts this week. A lot will be determined in a few weeks. I’m glad HS football’s playoff system is based on your record and not on someone’s opinion.

HAVE A QB WHO CAN GET THE JOB DONE, BUT HASN’T BEEN ALLOWED TO PASS MUCH, SHOULD HAVE BEEN USING SOME OF THESE BLOW OUT GAME TO PRACTICE THEIR PASSING GAME.
Could it be that HP Central gets another L this week against East Forsyth? then another next week at NW Guilford?

Everyone says SE can’t throw the ball. Their QB and offense can throw it just fine you just don’t need to throw it when you rush for 400 yds a game
The reason nobody talks about Dudley and SE is cause that conference is a joke and their non-conference schedule is a bigger joke! Play someone with a winning record then you can talk about being the best during the regular season! If you play teams that have 1 and 2 wins you have to wait till the playoffs to do your talking!
Pre-season NEG, SG, and Salisbury were all ranked in the top ten in their classes. Who would thing Salisbury who went deep last year would be winless.
The only thing they have to do is beat Page and Dudley. Good news is you don’t have to wait long for a shot at Page!

I think Dudley is very strong also. Good coaching and plenty of skilled players. You asked for a weakness other than kicking game so here you go. On offense you are a little one dimensional. Granted, you are big up front but you put enough guys in the box and a good team can stop the run. See Asheville Reynolds a couple of years ago. You guys were better than them but they made you one dimensional.
On a second issue, special teams are a serious issue. The kicking game cannot be an afterthought, especially when it is as bad as Dudley’s. Not only can Dudley not kick a field goal but they struggle on kickoffs. But the bigger issue is your snapping and punting. I like your team. I also feel they have a great shot to win the State, But the kicking game has to improve as well as some improvement in the downfield passing game. One day you may need it.
Good luck the rest of the way. You guys have a great team. Hopefully you won’t have to improve on those two items.

Southeast haven’t played anybody good yet. The records of the teams they played are 7 – 28. Playing a cupcake schedule can hurt you.
Umm okay dudley has played northern durham,person,ragsdale..and a overrated hillside…no hard scheldue.either..page has had one though
Dudley does have a weakness with the kicking game but they usually overcome this by keeping opposing offenses off the field so it’s not much of a factor. Lots of size on the lines and superb depth toting the rock. Great pass rushers and not many will move the ball on that defense. They beat people where it matters most which is up front. Lots of JV talent waiting in the wings……….Moseley is even faster than Ricky Lewis………….bigger, stronger, faster than the undefeated ’08 cchampionship team……….even when Page and Northern took away some players, Smh!
Maybe we won’t have so many jump ship now that we are rebuilding…
I been saying this all along this Dudley team will and can be better than the 08 team I said that before the season started..people Dudley calls the dogs off due to excellent sportsmanship. ..so through 5 games only 3 points (Person County when they rushed the kicker on the field before the clock expired at halftime ) has been scored against the first string D…thats scary…the other scores came against quality backups who hold their own ..and the JV is strong too…
Most of the people on the 08 team has two rings…which dudley wont do now,win one now to atleast say will be better
ANOTHER THING DUDLEY AND PAGE HAS GOING FOR THEM, IS TRADITION. THATS A GREAT THING TO HAVE, IT CAN’T BE TAUGHT, ITS BEEN EARNED OVER THE YEARS.

HE HAS BEEN RIGHT BEHIND PAGE AND DUDLEY, WHICH ISN’T BAD. MAYBE THEY ARE BUILDING A TRADITION.

I just want to give a shout out to the coaches, players, and staff at NW Guilford. To take that program from what it was 8 years ago to what it is today is something amazing. I remember back when we were flat out awful and were winning 1 game a season in Football now we are being talked about with the best teams in the state and that’s pretty cool. Congrats and keep up the hard work!
