David Amerson and Keenan Allen looking good/sounding good

David Amerson(Dudley HS/N.C. State) is now one of the starting defensive backs for the Washington Redskins and he had an interception for a touchdown in the Skins’ win last week over the Oakland Raiders…..

Amerson and his Redskins will face the Dallas Cowboys in the Sunday Night Game of the Week on NBC in primetime and today(Wednesday) Amerson was going primetime on the ‘Dave Glenn Show’ and Amerson gave a very good account of himself….

Didn’t get to hear it all on local ESPN radio and over Mr. Glenn’s large network of stations, but Dudley’s David Amerson is getting the job done for Washington in a starting role and he already has a pick for a TD and they are just 4 weeks into their season….

Looking good and sounding good David Amerson and he will hit the ‘Big Stage’ this Sunday night…..

Keenan Allen(Northern Guilford/Grimsley HS) got his first touchdown as a pro for the San Diego this past Sunday and he also topped the century mark in receiving for the Chargers and this was his first 100-plus yard game as a pro….Good job by Keenan Allen and he can be looked upon to do more in the future…..

Six catches for Allen and 115 yards this past Sunday, in the Chargers loss to the Raiders and kind of interesting that both Allen and Amerson get their first-ever career touchdown against the Raiders…..

CLICK HERE to see more on Allen’s game fron this past Sunday night, with this coming in fron the Charger’s site…..Both Amerson and Allen playing on back-to-back Sunday nights, but wasn’t the NBC game this past Sunday night San Fran-Atlanta…For sure it will be Washington(Amerson) and Dallas this coming Sunday night….

  1. I hope these guys will get and take the opportunity to speak to the youth of this area when they come back to Greensboro in later months and years to come. Both of these guys appear to have done it the “right” way and I hope it makes a statement to future youth wanting to follow their route. It is always good to see and hear about local kids making it big.
