Greensboro College Pride Men’s Golf Finishes Sixth at Royal Lakes

FLOWERY BRANCE, GA – The Greensboro College Pride men’s golf team returned to the course on Tuesday morning for day two of the Royal Lakes/ Oglethorpe Fall Invitational. The Pride entered the day in 6th place in the 16 team field, and fired a 295 on day two to stay in 6th place.

For The Pride, Nick Peoples shot a even par 71 on the second day to finish the tournament with a two day total 148. John Girmes (11th) remained the Pride’s top golfer, shooting a five over par 76 on the day to finish at 146.

Also carding scores for Greensboro was Greg Pappas 150 (76-74), Christopher Cox 152 (78-74), and Jack Hagyard 161 (79-82)

The Pride will return to the course on October 20th at the Randolph-Macon Invitational in Ashland, VA.
