Carter Smith(Grimsley High School) looks to lead Randolph College to the ODAC Title again

Update on soccer goal keeper Carter Smith(Grimsley High School) and his Randolph College Wildcats, as they pursue the Old Dominion Athletic Conference tournament title…..

After opening the ODAC tournament with a 1-0 win against Guilford College, the Wildcats beat Washington & Lee in the semi finals Wednesday night 2-0…Now it’s on to the Championship for Carter and the ‘Cats….They will play Virginia Wesleyan College Saturday night in Lynchburg for the ODAC title and the automatic bid to the NCAA tourney.

Carter and his defense are on a roll…last night marked Smith’s 4th straight shutout and 6th in the last 7 games. Going to be a battle off Rivermont Drive Saturday night….Just up the hill from the James River and just up the street from the Texas Inn Chili Restaurant….Time to hit it hard and kick those goal kicks long and straight in the ‘Hill City’….

Post-game celebration set for the Grand Round, out of off Candler’s Mountain Road…..
