26 thoughts on “Tuesday Night High School Basketball Scores:We have a load and we had at least two OT Games, with NWG-NG boys and SA-SWG girls!

  1. Final Girls:
    Northwest Guilford 49
    Northern Guilford 34

    Boys halftime:
    NG 31
    NWG 28

Now in the 3rd Q with 1:51 left:
    NG 42
    NWG 40….

  2. Marcus Curry with 22 right now for NG…

6:19 to go and it is:
    NG 47
    NWG 43

Barber with 13, Neas with 11, Pointer had 10 and Tucker with 9 for NWG girls…Aliyah Grinage led all girl scorers with 17 points…

  3. Three for NG and we are going to OT tied up at 62-all
Now 62-59 NWG 10 SECONDS LEFT
    60-57 NWG with 30.1 seconds left…

  4. Curry missed a long for NG and Colson Everett just hit a free throw…70-67 NWG with 10/8 seconds to go…

NWG now up 69-67 with 34/1 Seconds to play in OT….

Tied now at 67 with 1 minute to go…

67-66 NWG with 1:41 to go in OT…

  5. Couldn’t end up making the games myself as I had other business, but I’ve been told that Page won both boys and girls. Trying to find scores.

They would be pretty big wins for both teams. WSP is supposed to be a good team this year.

  6. Smith 60 – Reagan 53
Smith did not put there starters in the game until midway through the second quarter. They were down by 22 points and made a nice run with the starters.

  7. Dudley vs. Bishop game was decent for a half as Bishop only up 8 or at half, but then they blew it open and were up by close to 20 at one point until the DeFrancesco girl who is the Bishop McGuinness point guard went down with a bad injury and Dudley made a run but never got closer than 12 and lost by 14. Dudley is quick and some good guard play and shooters and decent size. They should have a decent season.

  8. Insane second half from Southwest Guilford. SW was losing 39-41 in the 3rd quarter and put together a 43-10 run that made the score 82-51 and put the game away. Good shooting and strong defense in the second half against a much larger southern Alamance team is what did it for the cowboys tonight.

  9. The final score of the Southwest Guilford vs. Southern Alamance game was 96-65. The score after SW’s run was 82-51 in the 4th quarter. Sorry for the confusion.

  10. Thanks for posting this game information so promptly. I love hearing about the teams that aren’t stacked with students that the coaches take from other schools or move into their district. I like hearing about the teams that don’t try to take that advantage because those players that endure will be our next Michael Jordans of the world. Remember, regardless of what your working with, “Cream always rises to the top”.

  11. According to the news and record, Page won 78-63

    Page (4-0) — Anthony Eaves 27, Diondre Overton 18, Xavier Hill-Mais 14 (10 rebounds), Jeremy Harris 11, Ty Graves 6, Cedric Banks 2

Winston Salem Prep — Mike Hughes 22, Coye Simmons 15, Aaron Lipschomb 10, KwaTre Hollingsworth 7, CJ Harrison 5, Omar Roseboro 3, Austin Collins.

  12. I thought the Staunton kid had graduated and playing college ball somewhere for Northwest Guilford ladies team? Or is this another Staunton?
