KANSAS CITY, KA — Greensboro College men’s soccer goalkeeper Manbi Neypon was named to the 2013 NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division III Men’s All-South Atlantic Region second team announced on Monday afternoon.
Neypon a senior from Liberia, West Africa finished his senior season with an 8-5-1 record for The Pride in 2013 while recording two shutouts. This is the second consecutive time that Neypon was named to the NSCAA all region teams. With his eight victories on the season, it moves him to 17 wins during his playing career at Greensboro College placing in fifth overall in The Pride record books. Neyon also moved up the Greensboro record books ranking second in career in shutouts with nine.
“I am very proud of Manbi being named to the NSCAA Division III All-region team for the second year in a row.” Head Coach John Trice said, “His play during his career at Greensboro College has been tremendous and certainly been a strong contribution to our success on the field.”
