Lamar Raynard and Marquell Cartwright lead High Point Andrews Red Raiders to State Title

Friday night in Chapel Hill, the High Andrews Red Raiders were crowned NCHSAA 2-AA State Champions, after the Red Raiders topped Monroe 18-14….

QB Lamar Raynard threw three touchdown passes and RB Marquell Cartwright ran for 179 yards to set the tone for the Red Raiders’ offense….

  1. I am so proud of these boys!! Even with the slow start, penalties and mistakes, they still fought hard and kept it together to bring home the championship!! Way to go Red Raiders!! One very proud mama!!

  2. We tear each other apart in Guilford but it’s always good to see a local team make it to the top of the mountain.
