Eastern Guilford Cheerleaders to perform at the Capital One Bowl in Orlando

LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL CHEERLEADERS INVITED TO PERFORM AT THE CAPITAL ONE BOWL IN ORLANDO

Gibsonville, NC –The Eastern Guilford cheerleaders from Gibsonville, NC will be performing in the 2013 Capital One Bowl in Orlando, Florida.

Tanner Shoffner, Angalyce O’Bryan and Ashlyn Loring, from JV (coached by Amanda Michael),Kailee Champigny and Maya Davis (coached by Grace Keener-Jones), from varsity, were selected as All American Cheerleaders during a tryout held at cheerleading camp over the summer were they were evaluated on camp dance, jumps and crowd leadership.

The cheerleaders invited to perform in the pre-game performance are All Americans selected from Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA), Universal Dance Association (UDA) and United Spirit Association (USA) summer camps. Only 12% of the cheerleaders who attend Varsity camps earn the chance to perform in a holiday spectacular of this caliber.

All 5 cheerleaders will be leaving on 12/28 with coaches Amanda Michael and Grace Keener-Jones and heading to Orlando, Florida.

Squad members will travel as a team to Orlando for a week of rehearsals dedicated to preparing them for their Capital One Bowl pre-game performance. The hours of rehearsals will be well worth the effort when they perform in front of tens of thousands of fans at this major college football event, televised on ABC. While in town, they will also have the chance to visit Central Florida’s famed theme parks.
