Final:Carolina Panthers 17, New Orleans Saints 13….Panthers in the playoffs for the first time since 2008…. Huge win for the Panthers today…

4th Q with less than a minute to play Cam Newton drives the Panthers down the field and Newton connects with Domenik Hixon for the 14-yard TD…Panthers 17, Saints 13…
Fourth Quarter:Saints move in front 13-10 on TD pass from Drew Brees to Jimmy Graham…Graham the big plus now for New Orleans…5:30 to play…
End of Third Quarter:Panthers 10, Saints 6
Third quarter and Graham Gano hits on a 40-yard field goal and the Panthers lead the Saints 10-6…WR Steve Smith already out with an injured knee and Cam Newton being looked at on the Panthers’ bench….
Now halftime and Panthers up 7-6…
*****This seems to be the ‘Hot Game’, the hot topic of the day.*****
The Carolina Panthers were down 6-0 on two New Orleans Saints’ field goals and then the Panthers get a pick by Thomas Davis and on the first play after the pick, DeAngelo Williams scores on 43-yard TD and the Panthers grab a 7-6 lead…(Remember that run by Williams in the first game of the season vs. the Seattle Seahawks??? He put that ball on the ground inside the five-yard line…Not this time, he ended up in the end zone.)

The Panthers have sacked Saints’ QB Drew Brees five times in the first half….

“Panthers defensive very impressive”, says FOX analyst Troy Aikman…

What a great game to witness live…even with the deluge of rain midway of the 3rd qtr and people leaving thinking the Panthers had lost, I hung around (in the covered area watching the game on the TV’s)…but as we watched the winning drive end in a touchdown there were so many people jumping up and down, running around and high-fiving each other! what a great great game!
