New Garden Friends School Lady Bears won 49-9 over Veritas Christian Warriors (Fletcher, NC) in the 2013 Carolina Day Wells Fargo WNC Holiday Classic after losing to St. Joseph’s Catholic (Greenville, SC) Thursday .
NGFS sophomore center Kelena Morris scored a game-high 14 points, sophomore guard Maggie Manhanes finished with 11 points, freshman wing Elaina Garner had 10 points, sophomore guard Courtney Owens had 8 points and sophomore forward Quwahia Wong-Lee finished with 6 points.
