Greensboro College Swim Teams Partner With Wounded Warrior Project

GREENSBORO, NC — The Greensboro College men’s and women’s team will be holding a benefit for the Wounded Warrior Project in conjunction with Senior Day at their home swim meet on January 24, 2014.

Through the efforts of not only The Pride swim teams, but also local sponsors the goal is to raise a grand total of $2,000 for the project. In order to reach this goal, the swim teams will be selling t-shirts for $10.00 with all proceeds to support their effort. The shirts can be ordered until January 14th and can be picked up on the day of the meet. To order a t-shirt, please contact Greensboro College swimmer Stephanie Medina at stephanie.medina@greensboro.edu. If you are unable to purchase a shirt in advance, there will be a limited number avalible at the meet for purchase.

The swim teams will welcome the teams from Hollins University and Guilford College to the Royce Reynolds Family Student Life Center pool for the meet. The first race is scheduled to start at 6:00 PM.
