Want to get an early look at the future collegiate and professional stars of tomorrow? The N.C. Scholastic Classic will once again bring the best in prep hoops action to Greensboro for a four-game holiday hoops extravaganza beginning at 1 p.m on January 20 (see schedule above).

Tickets are on sale now at www.ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets, charge-by-phone at 800-745-3000 and the Greensboro Coliseum box office. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for children ages 5-12 (under 5 free). Seating is general admission.

In its first year (2003), the North Carolina Scholastic Classic brought future NBA superstar LeBron James to the Triad, drawing a crowd of 16,220, a North Carolina state record for a high school basketball game. Other future NBA stars that have appeared in the Classic over the past 11 years include Kevin Durant (Oklahoma City Thunder), Josh Smith (Atlanta Hawks), Brandon Jennings (Milwaukee Bucks) and Ty Lawson (Denver Nuggets).
