Local Teen Golfer Attends Healthy Habits Summit in La Quinta

Teen participant of The First Tee of the Triad and Pfafftown native Seth Lomison attended the first-ever The First Tee Nine Healthy Habits Summit in La Quinta, Calif. this week. During the summit he had the opportunity to meet President Clinton and participate in a forum that included Kobe Bryant and will air on ESPN2 on Feb. 9. The summit took place as part of the healthy events leading up to the 2014 Humana Challenge.

Lomison, 16, is a member of the FHE Varsity Golf Team, boy scouts and KCC youth group. He was selected to attend the first-ever The First Tee Nine Healthy Habits Summit because of his interest in health and fitness.

“The First Tee Nine Healthy Habits Summit was an inspiring opportunity that will change my life forever,” said Lomison. “This event has inspired me to make a workout program at my chapter to help are future generation to live a long lasting life and be healthy.”
