Right below us you will see the reason they cancelled the Mid-State 3-A Conference Tournament, which was scheduled to played at Morehead and was set to start on Monday….

The tournament(Mid-State 3-A), which was to be held at Eden Morehead, was called off because two schools — Northeast Guilford and Eden Morehead — have two regular-season games to make up. Most of the other schools in the conference have one game to make up from Friday’s postponements….
Eastern Alamance will play host to Northeast Guilford on Tuesday night. That boys’ game could decide if a tiebreaker is needed to be played later next week for the conference championship, because Eastern Alamance is a game behind Northeast Guilford in the loss column. A victory for the Eagles likely would mean the teams would play again next week to decide the champion at a neutral site.
Southern Alamance’s basketball games at home against Greensboro Page will be played Monday night. The girls’ game will decide the conference championship, as both teams are 7-2 in the All Metro Conference.
