Southeast Guilford girls were led by Kayla Phifer with 11 points, Jewell Tinsley and Katie Lewis with 10 each and Emily Bray added 7 for the Falcons….Coach Newton played his subs for most of the later part of the third quarter and most of the 4th period as well…SEG should be well-rested for their game with Southern Alamance tonight….Kayla Phifer has taken over the reins of this team and she can run the show…..SEG vs. #1 Southern Alamance tonight(Wednesday) at Dudley…

Grimsley wins it over Southern Alamance 55-52 and the Whirlies were paced by the outside shooting of Luke Bouknight, who had 4 three’s according our sheet…Have really enjoyed the defense and board work of Devin Banks over the past couple of nights and the kid can get up and has good body control underneath the basket….Banks had 8 points and John Puryear 7 to help Bouknight in the scoring for the Whirlies….Solomon Smith and Michael Featherston are two more Whirlies that are really starting to come on, here late in the season….Grimsley vs. #1 Page tonight/Wednesday at Dudley……
