Greensboro’s Steven Gordon(Western Guilford) headed to Guilford College for football

We will have a separate post to mention Steven and all of the new players headed to Guilford Collge, but but we wanted to give the Greensboro kid a little spot of his own and get him some extra regognition/attention….Also keep an eye out in the upcoming NFL Draft for former Western Guilford linebacker Trey Stewart, who has been turning some heads arouund with his showings at some of the recent combines….Stewart is an outside linebacker who stands 6’4/240 and has a 40 time of 4.4 with a 36 inch vertical leap…Stewart went to college in Joliet, Illinois and he has become a late-bloomer at age 24, but the door is open, if he is ready to come on in….

The Guilford College Quakers welcome Steven Gordon, young man who has his athletics and acdemics all in all in order….

Steven Gordon, Jr. (Greensboro, N.C.) lettered three years at nearby Western Guilford High School under head coach Chris Causey. A 6-1, 240-pound two-way lineman, he earned academic all-conference recognition in both football and basketball. Gordon made 56 tackles as a senior and plans to study sport management at Guilford.
