Scrimmage for North Carolina Tar Heels’ football set for Friday at Grimsley High School

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Carolina will hold its second out-of-town football scrimmage on Friday, April 4, at 7 p.m. at Grimsley High School in Greensboro. The event is free and open to the public. Last Friday, Carolina practiced at Ardrey Kell High School in Charlotte.

“We enjoy taking the team on the road and giving our fans in other areas of the state a chance to watch the team scrimmage,” said head coach Larry Fedora. “Greensboro has always supported the Tar Heels and we’re looking forward to having a productive scrimmage.”

The Rams Club and UNC Athletics will conduct a football tailgate at 5 p.m. from Grimsley High School. Food options include Papa Johns Pizza, Duggins Concessions and Backyard Bistro.

Concessions and Chapel Hill Sportswear merchandise will be on sale throughout the scrimmage. Parking is available at no charge.

In the event of inclement weather, the scrimmage could be moved or cancelled. Stay tuned to GoHeels.com for any weather updates.
