GC Pride Men’s Tennis Falls To Averett 5-4

GREENSBORO, NC – The Greensboro College men’s tennis team fell to Averett University on Wednesday night 5-4.

Greensboro College won at #2 and #3 doubles to start the night taking and early 2-0 lead in the match. After losing the #1 doubles match, Averett was able to pull within 2-1 heading into the singles matches.

In singles play, Ian Weiner was able to earn a victory at #4 while Tyler McLemore won at #5 singles.

The Pride men’s tennis team will return to action on Friday afternoon at Piedmont College.
