Game Report on High Point Christian Academy softball running past Calvary Baptist

High Point Christian Academy jumps on Calvary Baptist Day early and coasts to 13-3 win

HPCA refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against Calvary Baptist Day, recording a 13-3 victory on Tuesday.

The game was decided quickly as HPCA exerted its will early with 10 runs in the first three innings.

A two-run single by Sloane McPeak, a walk by Austen Coats, and a sacrifice fly by Nikki Zittinger during the first inning and an RBI double by Lindsay Cecil, a two-run double by Maddie Faulkner, and an RBI single by Austen in the second inning fueled HPCA’s offense early. Maddie racked up three RBIs on two hits for HPCA.

HPCA quickly matched Calvary Baptist Day’s strong inning with a three-run inning of its own in the fourth. HPCA scored on an RBI double by Hadley Coats.
