At Elon, Blake Deatherage (3-1) threw a two-hitter with eight strikeouts and Western Alamance blitzed visiting Williams High School 12-1 in six innings in a Mid-State 3-A Conference game.
Brock Deatherage went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored while Mason Blackwood reached base three times with two hits and a walk for the Warriors (11-3, 10-3). Blackwood had two RBI.
