GREENSBORO, N.C. – Sophomore Adam Fiore (Ithaca. N.Y./Ithaca) scored a career-high 11 points in Guilford College’s 16-7 lacrosse win over visiting Methodist University Tuesday night. Fiore tallied four goals and seven assists to match the sixth-highest single-game scoring total in school history. His seven assists rank fourth on the Quakers’ single-game list.

Guilford (7-6) led 11-0 at halftime and score the game’s first 13 goals before Chris Lombardi (Charlotte, N.C./Ardrey Kell) got the first-year Monarchs (3-9) on the board. The score remained 13-1 after three quarters and Methodist won the final quarter, 6-3.
