Ragsdale Men’s Golf Challenging for Spot in Regionals

The Ragsdale Men’s Golf team competed at Greensboro National in conference play on Monday, finishing in fourth place for the day.

Leading the Tigers was Sophomore Bret Bartko, shooting a 1 under par 35, and sophomore David Song with a 38. Freshman William Stenmark shot a 41, and Senior Justin Brown shot 44 for a team score of 158. Outstanding play from High Point Central and Southwest Guilford forced the Tigers to lose ground in conference play, as the Tigers are currently in 3rd place in the highly competitive Piedmont Triad 4A Conference.

The Tigers are presently 1 shot behind High Point Central and 2 shots ahead of Southwest Guilford as Ragsdale battles for one of 3 qualifying spots for regionals.

Congratulations to Coach Dan Turner and the entire Ragsdale Golf Program for the steady progress and the first class manner in which you represent the entire Ragsdale Community.
