Baseball (25-19, 11-10)
Elon vs. Coastal Carolina, Tuesday, April 29, at 6:30 p.m., Latham Park

Elon vs. Davidson, Friday-Sunday, May 2-4, at 6:30 / 3 / 1 p.m., Latham Park

• After seeing his 26-game hitting streak come to an end on Tuesday at UNC Wilmington, junior Casey Jones has posted five hits over the last three games.
• The Phoenix is scheduled to play four of its final five home games this week beginning with a Tuesday contest against Coastal Carolina. Elon will then welcome in SoCon-leading Davidson for a three-game league series over the weekend.
• Elon will hold its annual Senior Day ceremonies prior to Sunday’s game against Davidson. The Phoenix will honor five members of the program – pitchers Ryan Pennell, Grant Fisher and Jacob Baker along with infielder Sebastian Gomez and utility player Sam Paone.
• The final Elon Baseball Live radio show will air live from Mellow Mushroom on Huffman Mill Road on Thursday evening. The show will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be broadcast live on WPCM 95.1 FM and 920 AM.

Men’s Tennis (19-4)
NCAA Tournament Selection Show Watch Party, Tuesday, April 29, at 4:45 p.m., Alumni Field House

• After winning the Southern Conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament that comes with winning the SoCon Tournament, the men’s tennis team will find out who its first opponent will be in the upcoming NCAA Tournament tomorrow, April 29.
• A watch party for the team will be held in the Walker Room in the Alumni Field House at 4:45 p.m. with the tournament draw starting at 5 p.m. on NCAA.com.
• Elon completed its perfect Southern Conference season on Saturday, April 19, by beating Furman in the finals of the SoCon Tournament in Chattanooga, Tenn. The SoCon title was the second tournament title for the Phoenix and first since 2007.
• Adding to his list of accolades, Cameron Silverman was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player after going 3-0 in singles play to help Elon to the title. Silverman was also named the conference’s Player of the Year this season for the second year in a row.
• The NCAA Tournament starts on Friday, May 9, at various sites across the country.

Softball (24-24-1, 6-12)
Elon at UNCG, Saturday-Sunday, May 2-3, 1/3/1 p.m., Greensboro, N.C.

• The Phoenix will close out the regular season with a visit to local rival UNCG for a three-game series beginning with a doubleheader on Saturday, May 2.
• Senior Carleigh Nester became the program’s all-time home run leader over the weekend with her 35th career home run on Sunday, April 27, in the Phoenix’s 3-2 win over Samford. Nester moved past All-American Tomeka Watson on the program’s all-time list and tied Watson’s single-season record with her 14th homer of the season.
• Elon won two out of three over Samford this past weekend to claim its first SoCon series of the season. The Phoenix also closed out its home schedule with a 16-10 record at Hunt Softball Park as it was the final home game for seniors Nester, Lauren Oldham, Ali Ford, Johanna Spencer, Amanda Allen and Karen Berna.

Women’s Lacrosse (8-8)
Atlantic Sun Championship
#2 Elon vs. #3 Detroit, Friday, May 2, at 3:30 p.m., Jacksonville, Fla.

• Elon clinched the second seed in this weekend’s Atlantic Sun Championship and will face third-seeded Detroit. The championship begins on Friday with the semifinals and concludes on Sunday with the championship game at 1 p.m. in Jacksonville.
• Last week, the Phoenix went 1-1 after claiming an 18-6 win at Stetson and falling in a 17-4 setback at regular-season champion Jacksonville.
• Molly Garrigan posted a program and career-high seven goals in the win at Stetson and led the team with eight goals on the week.

Women’s Tennis (15-8)
NCAA Tournament Selection Show Watch Party, Tuesday, April 29, at 4:45 p.m., Alumni Field House

• With its first-ever SoCon championship in tow, the women’s tennis team will make its first trip to the NCAA Tournament this season and will find out its opponent tomorrow, April 29.
• A watch party for the team will be held in the Walker Room in the Alumni Field House at 4:45 p.m. with the women’s tournament draw starting at 5:30 p.m. on NCAA.com.
• The Phoenix made history by winning the SoCon Tournament for the first time in program-history on April 19 in Chattanooga, Tenn., by beating No. 5 UNCG in the quarterfinals, then knocking off top-seeded Furman in the semifinals before knocking off second-seeded Samford in the finals.
• After being left off the conference’s first-team all-SoCon list in the regular season, Frida Jansaker earned the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player award for going 3-0 in both singles and doubles in the tournament.
• The NCAA Tournament starts on Friday, May 9, at various sites across the country.

Women’s Track & Field
Elon at Liberty Twilight Qualifier, Wednesday, May 30, Lynchburg, Va.

• Elon tied its highest finish at the Southern Conference Outdoor Championships, scoring 131 points for a third-place standing.
• The Phoenix had six individual league champions at the SoCon meet: Tereza Novotna (3,000-meter steeplechase), Megan Kirschling (high jump), Bria Bell (400-meters), Sydney Griffin (100-meter hurdles), Jennifer Esposito (400-meter hurdles), Breanna Warren (discus).
• Kirschling set the SoCon outdoor record in the high jump with a mark of 5’10.5” and moved to No. 26 on the NCAA Division I East Qualifying Outdoor list. Bell set a new school-record in the 400-meters with a time of 53.95 and is currently No. 25 on the East qualifying list.
