East Forsyth was at Ragsdale for the penultimate regular season conference game on Tuesday night. The two starting pitchers, Connor Burrows for Ragsdale and Rob Rodgers for East Forsyth, pitched into the sixth inning in a nothing to nothing game. Burrows had pitched out of trouble in the second and the third to keep the Eagles off the board. East had the bases loaded in the second with no outs and runners on second and third in the third inning with one out, but Burrows worked out of both jams.

His luck ran out in the sixth. A lead off walk and an error on a sacrifice bunt attempt put runners on first and third. Robbie Corlett drove in the games first run with a solid single to left field after one out. Burrows got the second out but with runners on first and second another error loaded the bases. David Watts then delivered a base clearing double down the line in left to put the Eagles up 4 – 0. They would score one more on a Brandon Ford base hit which would end up making the final score 5 – 0.

Rodgers pitched a complete game shut out to earn the win, limiting the Tigers to only 2 base hits.
