HPCA took down Cannon 8-2 on Thursday after slamming Cannon with five runs in the fifth inning.
HPCA scored in the fifth on An error, a bases loaded walk, and a wild pitch, and an RBI single by Sloane McPeak
Hannah Self went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for HPCA.
Sloane McPeak handled Cannon’s lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. Sloane allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk over seven innings.
HPCA stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the second, scoring two runs on two errors.
