Ragsdale Tigers have a lot to be happy about after Outstanding Golf Season

Men’s Golf Team Continuing Outstanding Season

The Ragsdale Tiger Men’s Golf team finished second in the Piedmont Triad 4A Championship earlier in the week at Jamestown Park, earning Regional Qualification to next week’s Mid-West Championship at Bermuda Run East. Leading the Tigers with an even par 72 was Sophomore David Song, who battled for the conference individual title. Sophomore William Stenmark scored 2nd with a solid 79; Freshman Jacob Haslam came in with a terrific 80; and the 4th counting score was posted by Sophomore Bret Bartko, with an 82 to give the Tigers a 313 total for the day, 9 shots behind 1st place NW Guilford, 7 shots ahead of High Point Central, and 10 shots ahead of 4th place SW Guilford. Finishing out scores for the Tigers were Senior Justin Brown, with a solid 84, and Junior Mike Hukill with a 88.

After the tournament, the following players from Ragsdale were announced to the all-conference team: Finishing 10th in conference was Freshman William Stenmark, Finishing 6th was Sophomore Bret Bartko, and finishing 4th was Sophomore David Song. Congratulations to these players for being named to the Piedmont Triad 4A All-Conference team!!!
